From Beginner to Stage to First Ever Festival This Saturday

Posted by The MindMusicMentor on July 19, 2012

Hi There,

With a let up in the rain – its a reminder that now in July we’re actually in the middle of festival/ all day music events.

And this saturday student Dan, now Lead Guitar with the Band Dirty Dissonance will be starting off the All Dayer at The Shakespeare Pub, This Saturday July 21st Spon Street at 12pm – there will be live music through until Midnight.

It was only a few short years ago that Dan was a beginner, had yet to play his first song all the way through – and since he’s not only done all of that, but gone on to play lead guitar, and even do some recording with different bands in the studio.

Here are a couple of “Dan” highlight videos – the first shows his first year of performances – going from playing rhythm guitar to lead guitar in AC/DC, Metallica styles

Starting with Dan’s first time ever on stage with singer Mick who has sung with tribute band ABCD (that’s a bit of a clue) :-

And then togther with Fedj and Ben – here’s Dan playing some harmony lead guitar in the style of Iron Maiden – listen out for the triple lead guitar right at the end :-

And earlier this month – here’s Dan playing two BLues solos from the recent Summer BootCamp – one through a fender, and the other through a Marshall Half Stack..

So Here’s wishing Dan Good luck for Saturday – now he’s making the transtion from beginner to stage to first All Dayer – and congratulations on Moving forward and progressing Towards The Guitar Player that he wants to be!

Til Next Time
